Everything really does happen for a reason. I found out about Arbonne by accident. In April of 2003, I was making calls to place an ad for my reflexology practice. I called ERVP Phoebe Coombs to ask her if I could put my business card into her mom’s club newsletter. Phoebe did what we should do all the time — she told me about Arbonne right away. I had never heard of the company and was not interested. I am a simple gal — no fancy creams, or makeup for me — I had no interest in skin care at the time. However, once I used the products and learned about Arbonne’s pure, safe and beneficial philosophy, I was hooked. I was planning on just talking about Arbonne to my Clients, but Phoebe encouraged me to grow to a District Manager. I remember starting my business … I do not remember ever thinking of stopping!
Starting my Arbonne business is the best decision I ever made. I have always loved helping others. After college, I worked with children who had behavioral and emotional problems. Then, I started my reflexology practice and it was a great joy. The results were easier to see. With Arbonne, I have found a way to help others on many levels. I have noticed that the products improved my skin and overall look and feel; however, the business has the potential to provide so much more. The most rewarding part of Arbonne is helping others reach their dreams. The great part is, this helps you reach your dreams, as well.
I have always said that my husband, Keven, and I are great collectors. We collect debt and have excelled at this for years! Arbonne has allowed us the potential to change this hobby for good. It has put us on a path we could not have imagined — a path to potentially becoming financially free. Can you feel the weight lift off your shoulders just imagining it? Picture the choices you can have when you do not have to choose which bills to pay. Now, we can really dream and make our dreams become realities. We decide where and how we live, take trips anywhere, at any time, and have the potential to have our retirement costs covered. I even have the opportunity to leave this business to my family.
At this point in my life, I would never want to answer to a boss. Why would I want to trade my time for money when I can leverage my time and help others in the process? Why would I go back to having no control in my life? I decide when I work, where I work and whom I work with. If I need a vacation, I take one. My business revolves around my life, not the other way around. My business gives me the ability to make friends, receive flowers, earn trips and jewelry and gives me the freedom to choose. I even earned a trip for two to Cancún — it was my honeymoon. I love the Arbonne business. I refuse to live life any other way.
Take a second and ask yourself a few questions. Is your job secure? Are you paid what you are worth? What is going to change in the next five years that will make your life different than it is today? Do you have a dream and are you working toward it? Are you happy with your job? Take a serious look at this business. There is a place for everyone and for every goal. The risk is low and the rewards can be very high. How often does this happen? Not very often.

Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank my husband, Keven: You have always supported me. You took the time to watch and learn about what I do, and then you became super-supportive. I know not everyone who does this business is blessed with this gift, and I am grateful. Thank you for putting up with me doing Presentations, trainings and trips. Thanks for giving me the time and letting me work it out so I could succeed. Thank you for believing in me. You are the best and I am the luckiest woman in the world to have you as my husband.
I am driving a white Mercedes-Benz now. Who would have thought? Although, the best part is not the car. The best part is that I am building the life I want to live while helping others do the same.
